Benefits
has an accident plan that will pay up to $5,000
per person, per injury. The cost is only $39.95 a month for
the whole family. This fits well with the HSA high deductible
plans
that they have
available today. It also includes a $10,000 accidental death and
dismemberment benefit.
To
take this one step further, their Vital Care 10 package includes:
Critical
Illness Coverage will pay up to $10,000 to the Insured, and up
to $5,000 to an Eligible Spouse, if they
are diagnosed with a covered Critical Illness. Covered Critical
Illnesses: Life Threatening Cancer; Heart Attack; Kidney (Renal)
Failure; and Stroke ; Coma; Coronary Artery Bypass Graft; Loss
of
Sight, Speech or Hearing; Major Organ Transplant; Paralysis; and
Severe Burns.
Accident
Only Medical Expense Benefit: covers up to $5,000 for all covered
medical
and dental expenses per occurrence that are
a direct result of an accidental injury. With a $100 deductible,
this plan covers active members and spouses under age 70 and dependent
children up to age 19. Coverage is extended to dependent children
up to age 25 if they are a full-time college student. The package
also includes a $10,000 Accidental Death & Dismemberment benefit.
The cost is
$49.95 for an individual and an individual and spouse for $69.95.
